In my career as a home improvement consultant I have written a number or reviews and articles about extra large decorative mirrors. I have spent time sharing about how to correctly place them around the house and how to use them to lighten up and add some sense of space. I still have a few more tips and tricks up my sleeve to share with you.

This is just a simple yet effective review that should get you well on your way to changing the look of your house.

Mirrors are typically used to check yourself out before you go out to face the world i.e. to make sure you have your hair just about right, your make up, your clothes and all the jazz.

Other than that they are widely used to create some sense of space in a smaller room. In addition to that, they are also used to add more light into a “not so well lit” room.

There are many types of mirrors that you can choose when coming up with your decorative plans. For instance, you can choose a wall , oversized, tiny convex, silver, Venetian, metal, handcrafted, wrought iron, antique and mirror full length beveled to name just a few.

For those people who have small houses this is practically an easy way to living “large” as you widen the size of your house without laying another brick. I know that most people are weary of doing this because visitors and kids have a bad habit of banging touching things around, which might dirty them. To combat this problem simply use a mirrored tile, which often comes with a design overlay.

Another alternative is to use decorative bathroom mirrors on a mantle or add some mirror tile highlight on the wall – here and there.

There really is no one best way to us your mirrors to decorate around your house. Just follow your heart and the rest will follow you. If you want some ideas on what to do exactly use search engine to find other great resources online
