Moving to a new city is an laborious activity. Especially, if you are Moving away from your homeland where you have spent a good part of your life growing up and doing all those things that make you rooted to the place – studying, playing, making pal, etc. Soon after graduating from my engineering university, as part of the campus recruitment, I was selected by a organization specializing in manufacturing computer peripherals. Once the selection process was over, the selected candidates were asked to join the organization next month. My professional vocation was on a good beginning – a honorable firm, handsome paycheck for a novice, and exposure to the latest appliance and technologies in the industry. However, there was one catch – I had to move to a new location – Gilbert, Arizona. The town of Gilbert has a population of about 207,550 people and is in Maricopa County, Arizona. Our office was a three-storey building in the middle of the town, well connected with road transport facilities. The interior designing and furnishing was yet to be done, as it was a newly bought office. The day I came into the new office building, I could see that the renovation activity was still under progress. I could see electricians, plumbers and roofers busy drilling the walls and installing wires, pipes and roofing systems all over the place. Since I had not been assigned any work yet, I decided to hang around with these skilled workers while they were at their activity. The electricians were from Gilbert Electricians, a regional company offering the best electrical services in the town. Their electricians had installed an electrical panel containing notations or lists that tell us which circuit breakers or fuses control particular circuits. This is very beneficial because in crisis situations you can speedily find the correct circuit breakers or fuses to close them off or reset them. The plumbing systems installed in the workplace were according the current standards followed everywhere else. The plumbing professionals were called from a local company – Gilbert Plumbers. They fitted distinctive types of pipes for different requirements. Plastic pipes were used as they were of small price, effortless to fit and free from corrosion. Rigid copper pipes because they were strong and long-lasting and could handle both hot and cold water. For roofing purposes, we had hired a local roofing services company, Gilbert Roofers (Need one? click here!). Since roofs describe the architectural shape of a building, it was very imperative to choose the correct style and right type of roofing. The skilled professionals adviced a mixture of hipped roof with gable dormers to save the wall from all weather and povide ample shade.
